First of all, WELCOME TO THE LEAGUE! Maybe you’re new this team or to Silverbacks as a whole. Either way, this artile has all the details to get you aquainted with our player portal. Just scroll to find instructions for making payments, registering in Daysmart, messaging teammates and more!
Registering in Daysmart
- At the home page, click the white “Create Account” button that is at the bottom, under the sign-in text boxes.
- On the next page, enter all of the information that is marked with a *. Some of the information required is Name, Email, Phone Number, Location (Silverbacks Park), Address and Password.
- Please note that NONE of this information is shared with any outside parties. Please answer truthfully to allow Silverbacks to contact you in the event of cancellations, schedule changes, emergencies, etc.
- After completing the form, click in the box stating that you are not a robot and then hit “Submit.”
- You will now be brought to your accounts Dashboard where you can request to be added to a team, make payments, contact Silverbacks Park, etc.
- If you already have a DaySmart account but cannot access it, notify Silverbacks Park Staff and they will send you a password reset email. They can also change your email for you if it has changed since you last logged in. Please refrain from creating a second account when possible.
Team Page – Looking at your team page allows you to see your team color, roster, full schedule and Standings. To access your team page:
- On the Dashboard of your profile, you will see a list of all teams that you are currently on. These teams will be highlighted in individual boxes with the team name highlighted in blue.
- At the bottom left of the team box, click the “Team” button.
- You should now be on the team page where you can see everything listed above.
RSVPing
Some captains will have you RSVP to each game in the year that you will be able to attend. There are three ways to do this.
Dashboard:
- From your Dashboard, click on the three dots highlighted by a black box. A pulldown box will pop up. Click the “RSVP” button.
- From there you will be brought to a page with your roster on it. Find your name and click on it.
- All games scheduled with the team (past and future) will show up underneath your name. Select the “Y,” “?,” or “N” button depending on your attendance for each game.
- You will not be allowed to RSVP for past events.
- The overall team tally will be shown at the top.
Team Page 1:
- From the team page, scrolls down to the team schedule.
- You will see all upcoming games below the roster with the date, time, matchup, field, etc on it.
- Click on the grey “RSVP” button to the right of the upcoming game.
- From there you will be brought to a page with your roster on it. Find your name and click the “Y,” “?,” or “N” button depending on your attendance for the game.
Team Page 2: You can access this by clicking “Schedule” in the top right corner of the home page.
- From the team page, click the grey “RSVP” button at the bottom left of the Details box.
- From there you will be brought to a page with your roster on it. Find your name and click on it.
- All games scheduled with the team (past and future) will show up underneath your name. Select the “Y,” “?,” or “N” button depending on your attendance for each game.
Making Payments
*Note* The white “Make Payment” button on the Dashboard is only for rentals and other billing. It is not to be used for League Payments. Please follow these instructions to pay for your team.
- From the Dashboard, you will see all the teams that you are actively on. Under each team box there is a blue “Pay” button to the right.
- Click the “Pay” button for the team that you are trying to make the payment for.
- From there you will see a box pop up that says, “Add Team Payment.” Enter the amount that you are going to pay for your team under “Amount to pay” box and then click “add to cart.”
- You will then be brought back to the Dashboard of your profile, but with a shopping cart button will be at the top right of the page with a “1” on it if you are just making one payment.
- You can do this multiple times before checking out. This means that you can make multiple payments for different teams all at the same time by repeating steps 1-3 until all team payments have been added to the shopping cart.
- Once you have added all of the team payments that you want to make, select the shopping cart symbol at the top right of the page.
- From there you will be brought to a new page where you can review you payments for all teams selected. Make sure that the amount for each team and total is correct. Fill out your credit card information and then hit the grey “checkout” button.
- You can save your card information under your profile for faster payments in the future if you would like.
- To reverse this process at any point before the payment is processed, simply click the “x” to the right of any payments.
- You can also make payments at the league office (red trailer) upon arrival at the park.
Messaging
You can message your team through the DaySmart app.
- From your Dashboard page of your profile, you will see all active teams that you are on. Click on the three dots highlighted by a black box for the team you want to message. A dropdown menu will pop up.
- Click the “Message” button below RSVP.
- You will then be taken to the message page from your team where you can see all previous messages that were sent. Click on the grey “+ Compose Message” button above the old messages.
- Write the subject of the message in the text box under “Subject,”
- Write the message that you want to send you your team in the text box under “Message.”
- Hit the grey send button on the bottom right of the page.
- You can also do this through your actual page as well by clicking the “view/manage team” on the Dashboard and then clicking the grey “Message” button in the details box. Repeat steps 3-6.
